This week, the childcare staff at McDanield has been participating in a kindness challenge.  The objective has been to perform random acts of kindness to positively influence someone's day.  We have extend these acts towards our coworkers, family, community, and even to strangers.

The Toddler 1 teachers wanted to extend this idea and incorporate it into our classroom.  We all participated in making cookies in class on Wednesday.  We also had the help of a couple friends from the Toddler 2 class.  We had so much fun and the kids loved the group activity.  We then had the cookies delivered Thursday morning to our districts Central Office as a surprise, in hopes of making someone's day for no reason, other than simply being thought of through a true act of kindness!
