The Hershey Track and Field program was created over thirty years ago to promote youth fitness and provide fun learning experiences for children 9 to 14 years old.  This is the largest youth sports program of its kind in the United States and Canada.

The Sunflower State Games is the largest amateur multi sport festival in Kansas conducted annually in July.  The Sunflower Games is recognized by the U.S. Olympic Committee and is governed by the National Congress of State Games.  The event is open to athletes of all ages and skill level.

USATF is the national governing body over track and field, long-distance running, and race walking in the United States.
